Known, cared for, and growing in Christ
Jubilee City Church does not practice formal church membership. Our emphasis is on ministry and discipleship: helping people follow Jesus, receive spiritual care, and become connected to a loving church community.
Our bylaws describe Watchcare through the biblical principle of covenant between God and His people, and His people with one another. This is a commitment to walk together in faith, care for one another, and grow as disciples of Jesus.
What Watchcare means
Spiritual oversight
Each individual or family who attends Jubilee City regularly is placed under the oversight of one or more Elders. Watchcare helps connect people with leaders who can shepherd and encourage them.
Personal care
The assigned Elder or Elders, with assisting deacons, covenant with each person or family to minister to their needs and help them become part of the loving community of the church.
Life together
Everyone under the church’s Watchcare is encouraged to participate actively in a Life Group. These relationships help us grow in our personal walk with Christ, worship of Him, and work with Him.
