We have some very exciting news!
Hello church family and friends,
We are so excited to share that we have officially signed the lease on our new building for Jubilee City Church and Jubilee City Collective!
As we’ve stepped into this, we knew there would be challenges ahead. We’ve been gathering quotes and working through the requirements needed to begin meeting in the space.
Here’s where things currently stand:
- The monthly cost to lease the building will be $4,500.
- Because we are changing the building’s use to a general assembly space, the city requires several updates before we can begin meeting there.
Some of those requirements include:
- A life safety plan through an architect (approximately $4,000), along with fire extinguishers and exit signage(Extra cost)
- Sidewalk installation on both sides of the building. Our first quote came in at $26,000, which was difficult to receive. We are continuing to seek additional quotes—if you know a concrete contractor willing to help a nonprofit church plant, we would be incredibly grateful for any connections.
- Landscaping requirements, including planting trees along the front of the property 7 trees at 10 ft each. Additional trees, shrubs, and creating a designated greenbelt zone. (No quotes for this yet-Please reach out with info on a tree company or anyone interested in helping a non-profit)
- Installing AC in the 2,600 sq. ft. back portion of the building, which came in at $16,000.
Also, not on the top of the list but needed for kids church and homeschool enrichment programs, we need to fence in a playground with equipment.
While these numbers are significant, we are confident in one thing: the Lord has opened every door for this church plant and for our homeschool enrichment program launching this fall. We trust that where He leads, He will provide.
